Coriander salad

A Chinese salad recipe – quick, easy and very filling!




Prep time

7-8 mins


  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt + 1/2 tea spoon of sugar

  • 2 tablespoons of sesame oil or flaxseed oil, or olive oil

  • 2 red peppers

  • two handfuls of coriander

  • 100gr roasted peanuts or cashew nuts

  • a tablespoon of roasted sesame seeds
    or a teaspoon of sesame tahini (optional)


  • Once deseeded chop your peppers into small pieces, then put them in a salad bowl. Add the soy sauce, sugar, salt, oil, nuts & sesame seeds or tahini.
  • Chop the coriander up and add to the bowl.
  • Crush the nuts. I used a chopper to speed the process up.
  • Mix all of the ingredients well. Serve & enjoy!
